National Helpline 24/7 – Substance Abuse and Mental Health

Every person is seeking love and acceptance from one another. Life is meaningful when we connect with others. So, why is it so hard to navigate through relationships? Our culture, family of origin and social expectations play an essential role in the ways we engage with others and influence our current struggles. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my goal is to provide a non-judgmental space where people can increase their understanding of the unhelpful patterns of behaviors that might be causing them pain and hardship while recognizing strengths that will allow the healing process to begin. I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I work with individuals and couples from various cultural backgrounds. Struggling with life stage transitions, trauma, anxiety and identity exploration regarding ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, and gender identity. I want to explore with you your greatest strengths and identify what makes you unique!

Muslim Youth Confidential Helpline – Phone

Julie believes therapy is a unique relationship that allows people to bring their whole selves to the encounter: there is no judgment of self-destructive habits or symptoms in the space she creates for her clients. When you feel free to discuss your real emotions, a relationship based on trust develops, allowing you to begin thinking about yourself in deeper and more truthful ways. It is this process that empowers you to change. Julie is here to support you as you experiment with new and often scary ways of thinking, feeling and living. She is here to help you imagine your own vision of a life you may never have thought was possible or deserved.
