My approach includes exploring mental/emotional, spiritual, and physical needs as well as identifying my client’s strengths and gifts. I embrace the importance and uniqueness of diverse cultural backgrounds and their influence in one’s life. My treatment style is interactive and specially tailored to each client. My clinical and consulting experiences are varied and include medical settings, community mental health centers, residential treatment facilities, religious organizations, law enforcement/governmental agencies. My international consulting experience includes El Hogar- a medical, residential facility in Chaclacayo, Peru. I hold an Advance Certification in Telehealth, EMDR Certified, Life Coach, Pet Loss and Bereavement Specialist. I have been in private practice for over 17 years. I’ve served as the director of the Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute for Mental Health Education (2010-2011). I have happily served as an adjunct faculty member at Lewis and DePaul universities. I am a lifelong resident of Chicago, Illinois. I am fluent in Spanish.
