Hi, I’m Karoline. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (L.C.S.W.) in the state of Illinois and have 9 years of post-graduate experience providing psychotherapy. We all get stuck or lost at one point or another in our lives, and often we are unprepared, confused, and scared. The primary goals of my psychotherapy practice are to help my clients feel better and create the best possible lives for themselves. Always striving to understand my clients holistically, I pay close attention to areas like the mind-body connection as well as larger social issues.

My extensive international experience includes 14 years living in Tokyo, Japan and three years in Lima, Peru. My diverse background enables me to be open-minded, eclectic, and creative in my approach to treatment, and to distinguish personal and mental health issues from cultural and societal ones.
My approach is flexible and practical. I work with clients to identify major issues and set treatment goals.
